Freshman Counselor Applications are now available at the Yale College Freshman Counselor Website: http://yalecollege.yale.edu/content/freshman-counselors. The application is open through Friday, February 3, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. Prospective freshman counselors should complete the online application form and also turn in a hard-copy, one-page resume to their own Residential College Dean’s office. These and other guidelines are on the application and the website.

Quiet Hours: 24 hours every night now through the examination period (including Bingham)
Trumbull College Library is for quiet studying only. Use other places in the college for group studying and conversation (for instance, buttery area, Common Room and Seminar Room). Also, please clean up when you are done studying (soda cans and snacks and wrappers and the like) and please do not to spread out so much at a table that others cannot also study at that table.
TC Dining Hall Open for quiet studying during reading and examination periods. When possible, hot water for tea, coffee, and hot chocolate will be available each night. Please clean up after yourself.

Deadline: Friday, December 2, 5 PM. Last day to withdraw from a fall-term course. The form is in the TC Dean’s Office. Advice: Check your courses on-line to be sure you are not still enrolled in a course you forgot to withdraw from.
Deadline: Friday, December 9. Deadline for all course assignments, including term papers. This deadline can be extended only by a Temporary Incomplete authorized by the student’s residential college dean.

Yale Harvard tickets go on sale TODAY at 9:00am. Tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Where: Yale Athletics Ticket Office (20 Tower Parkway – adjacent to Payne Whitney Gymnasium). The Yale Athletics Ticket office is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday thru Friday.

Library Research Workshops — Ask the Experts: Research help for student papers and projects
The Yale University Library is hosting its annual Ask the Experts! Workshops for students seeking help finding books and peer-reviewed articles, identifying primary sources, interpreting citations in footnotes, and preparing bibliographies. Sign up for one of the following three workshops in Bass Library L-06 to consult with a Yale research librarian about your paper or project. The Experts help you get your research off the ground. These workshops are open to all undergraduates.
Tuesday, Nov. 8th, 4pm-5pm
Wednesday, Nov. 9th, 7pm-8pm
Monday, Nov. 14th, 4pm-5pm
All workshops will be held in Bass L-06 (lower level, under the café)
